[3.47] She said: My Lord! when shall there be a son (born) to I me, and man has not touched me? He said: Even so, Allah creates what He pleases; when He has decreed a matter, He only says to it, Be, and it is.
[3.48] And He will teach him the Book and the wisdom and the Tavrat and the Injeel.

And as the Injeel says:

²⁶In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee,

²⁷to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary.

²⁸The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”

 ²⁹Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be.

³⁰But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God.

³¹You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus.

³²He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David,

³⁴“How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?”  

³⁵The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.

³⁶Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be barren is in her sixth month. ³⁷For nothing is impossible with God.”  

³⁸“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May it be to me as you have said.” Then the angel left her. Luke 1:26-38

What do you notice?

1. Isa has Allah as Father

2. In the Quran 3.45 Isa is called the Messiah (Allah’s anointed). This is mentioned in the Injeel, but not in the birth account. Messiah is to come of the Lineage of David. He is described in his exaltation, with his great kingdom that shall be spiritual rather than temporal. Psalms 2; Psalms 21; Psalms 40; Psalms 110.

3. Both the Quran and Injeel say that the son of Mary is a name that means savior, whether Isa or Jesus they both mean savior.

Adam was the first man. Adam had no earthly father. Only Allah was Adam’s father. Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of Eden in close relationship with Allah. Satan tempted Adam and then Adam committed one sin. Only one sin and Allah held him accountable and banished him from the Garden of Eden.

Adam and Eve realized they were naked and made clothes sewn of fig leaves. This was not adequate. There was no shedding of blood. Allah demanded a sacrifice. Blood was shed. Allah himself clothed Adam and Eve with animal skins.

We are all the offspring of Adam. We all inherited the sin nature of Adam. That is, all of us except Isa. Isa is known as “Isa Ruhallah.”

Isa was the only man besides Adam who has no father. Isa was born of the Virgin Miryam by the breath of Allah. Isa is from Allah. Isa is the essence of Allah. Isa lived a sinless life.

When Isa was only thirty years old he began to tell his disciples that he was going to die. Others identified Isa as the Lamb of God who has come to take away the sins of the world. His name is Isa Masih. It means the anointed savior.

Isa died to pay the penalty for your sins. Isa died as your Korbani sacrifice.

The Koran says: Surah Al `Imran 3:54
Allah said, “O Isa, indeed I will cause you to die and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to Allah alone] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ.

Allah punished Adam for only one sin. We are of the tree of Adam. A mango tree will never produce apples. Our tree is the tree of Adam that has produced sin. We must ask Isa’s death to cover our sin.

The Injil says:
In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. Hebrews 9:22

Turn to Isa Masih, the appointed savior. Isa is the very Ruh-Allah, Spirit of God. Allah caused Isa to die as the Korbani sacrifice for your sins.

Isa: What does his name mean?

3:45 (and remember) when the angels said: “ O Maryam! Verily, Allah gives you the glad tidings of a Word from Him, whose name is Isa Masih (Jesus Messiah), the son of Maryam, held in honor in this world and in the Hereafter, and one of those brought near to Allah.”

Surah Ambiyaa 21:91 “.. and she (Maryam) guarded her chastity, therefore We breathed into her of our Spirit and made her and her son a sign for all people.”

Isa Masih means Savior Messiah

Al-Masih means “the anointed or promised one”

Isa is the Word (Kalim) and Spirit of Allah. He is savior. What did he save us from. The Injiil says:

For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit, 1 Peter 3:18

سورة مريم 19:33 عيسى يقول عن نفسه :
المباركة هو اليوم الذي توفي ، وبارك لي اليوم هو بعث “.

ما هو الغرض الله في الموت والقيامة من عيسى؟
عيسى لم يولد في الخطيئة مثلكم ومثلي. وهو الذي هو الوحيد الذي لم يكن سوى والد آدم. كان آدم الثاني. عاش المقدسة وتلام الحياة.

كانت خطة الله عيسى لتكون فداء لخطايانا. كما قدم ابراهيم التضحية حتى الله عيسى سبب للموت من اجل خطاياك. كان الله لعيسى الموت يا المنقذ. هذا هو معنى الاسم عيسى. معنى مسيح هي عين واحدة.
عيسى هي عين واحدة من الله أن يموت يا المنقذ.

نؤمن عيسى. كيف تقرأ لرجل واحد وجاء ذلك الاكتشاف.

The Koran tells us that Isa Masih died and was raised to life

Surah al-Imran 3:55 Allah said:
“O Isa! I will cause you to die and raise you to Myself.

Surah Maryam 19:33 Isa says about himself:
Blessed was the day I died, and blessed was the day I was resurrected.”

What was Allah’s purpose in the death and resurrection of Isa?

Isa was not born in sin like you and me. He the is the only one who had no father except Adam. He was the second Adam. He lived a holy and blameless life.

It was Allah’s plan for Isa to be the sacrifice for our sins. Just as Ibrahim made a sacrifice so God cause Isa to die for your sins. It was Allah’s plan for Isa to die as your savior. That is the meaning of the name Isa. The meaning of Masih is the appointed one.
